1.Expressing thanks to the Chairperson致谢

如果有主持人或老师先对你进行了介绍的话，要有礼貌的向主持人表示感谢。下面是几个致谢的例子。

•First, I would like to thank XXX for his gracious introduction.

•Thank you very much, XXX, for your very kind introduction.

2.Forms of Address and Greetings 对观众的称呼

向观众问好时，也可以增加一点称呼上的变化。下面这几个称呼可能你会用到。

3.Expressing Pleasure and Honor 向听众致意

在正式开始presentation之前，先表达一下自己的激动之情，常用句式如下。

4.Reference to the Audience 与听众呼应

此时是拉近演讲者与观众距离的最好机会，如果能激发起观众的兴趣和认同感，presentation的效果将大大加强。

•Let us start with the theoretical basis of this new technique.
